National Cadet Corps (N.C.C.)

The College has one N.C.C. Company which was raised in 1956-57 with following three fold aims:

  • To develop character, comradeship, the ideal of service and capacity for leadership in young men.
  • To provide service training to young men so as to stimulate interest in the Defence of the country.
  • To build up reserve of potential officers to enable armed forces to expand rapidly at the time of national emergency.

At present the National Cadet Corps is being run in our college. Cadets are trained for parade and various certification examinations. Cadets are also sent to various camps for physical training, weapon training, rock climbing, trekking, river rafting and paragliding etc.
