The students of GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, outshine in the recently concluded P.U. Intercollege Shooting Championship held at P.U. Campus. The college team clinched a total of five medals in individual and team events. In 10m Air Rifle Individual event, Arjun Singh Chandel and Chhayank Sharma bagged silver and bronze medals, respectively. In this event, Arjun Singh Chandel lost by a margin of just three points to the gold medal winner who was also a World Cup medalist. As a team, Arjun Singh Chandel, Chhayank Sharma and Rajan Malik won a silver medal each in 10m Air Rifle and 50 m .22 Prone men's team event; and a bronze medal in the 50 m .22 Three Position men's team event. As a result, the college secured an overall third position in the Championship. Lt. Gen. I.S. Singha (Retd.), Director, Dr. S.S. Deol, Principal and Dr. H.S. Brar, Registrar, lauded the shooters for their achievement and also appreciated the efforts of faculty members of P.G.
