Social Vision Club of G.H.G Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar sadhar in collaboration with G.H.G Khalsa College and College of Pharmacy organized a function to commemorate 70th Republic Day on 26th, January 2019. The function was organized under the able guidance of Dr. Sarbjit Kaur Ranu, Principal of the college. Col. Randhir Singh Gill was Chief Guest on the occasion and was accompanied by his son Major Tarandeep Singh Gill. The programme started with flag hoisting ceremony by the chief guest followed by a cultural programme. The cultural programme started with the formal welcome of the Chief Guest by the Principal of the college. A student of B.Ed class, Pooja Sharma delivered speech on the importance of celebrating Republic Day .After that a performance on group song "Saare Jahan Se Accha" was given collectively by B.Ed and M.Ed students. Manpreet Singh of B.Ed recited a beautiful poem on the theme "Border". Lakhvir Singh of B.Ed class enthralled the audience with his singing performance. Girl students of B.Ed class also presented a beautiful choreography on the occasion. Dr. Sarbjit Kaur Ranu congratulated Dr. Jasleen Kaur, Dr. Jasvir Kaur and Dr. Pargat Garcha, teacher incharges of the Social Vision Club and the students for organizing such a wonderful event. All the teaching and non-teaching staff of G.H.G Khalsa Colleges was also present on the occasion.
