G.H.G Khalsa College of Education organized a retirement party for S. Ajit Singh, Librarian in the college, who after 33 years of meritorious service retired from the college on November 30, 2018. The function started with the recitation of College Shabad which was followed by floral welcome to S. Ajit Singh and his family by the college Governing Council. Dr. Sarbjit Kaur Ranu, Principal of the college welcomed S. Ajit Singh and his family. In her welcome speech, she described S. Ajit Singh as an illustrious personality who followed his responsibilities with full commitment. Prof. Rupinderjit Kaur presented the memorable journey of S. Ajit Singh in the college with the help of a power point presentation. Lt. Gen. I.S Singha, Director College Governing Council, congratulated and appreciated the dedicated efforts put by S. Ajit Singh in all the curricular and co-curricular activities held in the college campus. Dr. H.S Brar, registrar, College Governing Council in his speech described S. Ajit Singh as a dedicated and sincere employee of the college. Prof. Rachhpal Singh and Dr. Pargat Singh Garcha, while sharing their views on the occasion said that the institute will surely miss his professional expertise. Dr. Manu Chadha, Associate prof. in the college presented vote of thanks and conveyed her best wishes to S. Ajit Singh for a healthy, happy and prosperous life ahead. The other eminent personalities present on the occasion included Dr. S.S. Deol, Dr. Satwinder Kaur, Dr. J.S Brar, Dr. Balwinderpal Singh, S. Jugraj Singh, Prof. Jagtar Singh, S. Gurnaib Singh and S.
