A seven days long Faculty Development Programme on the theme "Resource Mobilization- Local to Global" concluded at G.H.G Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar on February 14,2021. The FDP which started on February 08, 2021 was organised in collaboration with Bombay Teachers' Training College, Mumbai, Council for Teacher Education Foundation (Punjab & Chandigarh Chapter) and The Best Health Solutions, Johannesburg, South Africa under PARAMARSH Scheme of UGC and was coordinated by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the G.H.G Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar and Bombay Teachers' Training College, Mumbai. The objective of this Faculty Development Programme was to analyse the methods of fund allocation to Higher Education Institutions in different countries and adoption of various innovative methods of financing of higher education. The various subthemes on which the deliberations was arranged included "The art of proposal writing for resource mobilization, Local and International Funding Resources, Local and International Collaborations, Research Grants, Library as a Learning Resource, Academic Writing for Social Sciences Research, Online Platforms for Sharing Research, Executing Project Management and Sharing Experiential Learning". The resource persons for the of FDP were Mr. David Mnkandla from Milpark Business School, South Africa' Dr. Ndumiso Tshuma from The Best Health Solutions, South Africa; Dr. Ravneet Chawla, Associate Prof. Govt. College of Education, Chandigarh, Dr. Sonal Singh, HOD, School of Studies in Library and Information Sciences, Vikram University, Ujjain' Dr. Rajeev Jha, Associate Prof., Bombay Teachers' Training College, Mumbai; Dr. Priya Pillai, Librarian, Bombay Teachers' Training College, Mumbai, Dr. Ramesh Sharma, Associate Prof. Ambedkar University, Delhi; Dr. Bhagwan Bilani, Principal Bombay Teachers' Training College, Mumbai and Dr. Lubna Ansari, Associate Prof. Bombay Teachers' Training College, Mumbai. Dr. Pargat Singh Garcha, Principal of the college congratulated the IQAC coordinators of both the colleges Dr. Manu Chadha and Dr. Mandeep Kochar for successfully arranging the Faculty Development progr amme. More than 500 participants attended this international level faculty development programme.
