On the 10th and 11th of January, the NCC(G) unit of G.H.G Khalsa College Gurusar Sadhar Ludhiana organised an extension lecture, foot policing, poster making competition, and statue cleaning activities as part of the Swacchta Mission, which was led by LT Preety Saini and well-coordinated by SUO Anushka Saha. Under the statue cleaning mission, NCC cadets clean the statue of S. Premjit Singh Gill whose memory the Government healing center in Sadhar town was set up.
Due to the extensive spread of the covid-19 epidemic, a virtual lecture and poster competition was held. The NCC cadets conducted foot policing actions in their neighbourhood and raised awareness among the general public that masks are still required for their protection. Prof. Aarti Sharma served as the extended lecture's resource person, explaining to the NCC cadets, both girls and boys, about consumer awareness and how to file a complaint online.
