The Biological Society of GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar organized interclass Poster Competition of B.Sc. Medical students under the guidance of Prof. Gupreet Kaur Deol on World Aids Day. The students presented posters depicting causes, symptoms and preventive measures that could be adopted against this dreadful disease. Twenty four students participated in this competition presenting very detailed and self-explanatory posters. The students of other departments also visited the venue and enriched themselves. Prof. Inderjeet Singh and Prof. Jasbinder Kaur were the judges for this competition. Navneet Kaur of B.Sc. 1 st bagged first position Jaspreet Kaur and Harshpreet Kaur of B.Sc. 3 rd Year shared second position. Harmanpreet Kaur and Anushka Saha scored third position. Sarabjeet Kaur of B.Sc. 3 rd , Lakshpreet Kaur of B.Sc. 1 st and Damandeep Kaur of B.Sc. 3 rd year got consolation prizes.
Principal Prof. Jaswant Singh congratulated the winners & appreciated the efforts of the students. Prof. Parveen Ansari, Prof. Vishavpreet Kaur, Prof. Taranjeet Kaur and Prof. Sangatjot Kaur were also present on the occasion.
