The P.G. Department of History and Punjabi, GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar organized a one day National online webinar on "Understanding the Covid-19 Pandemic". It was done under the guidance of Chief Patrons S. Manjit Singh Gill and Dr. S.S. Thind. The webinar was aimed to raise awareness about Covid-19 pandemic from historical perspectives. The inaugural session was started with the welcome note by Principal Prof. Jaswant Singh Goraya. The resource person, Dr. Sukhdev Singh Sohal, Retd. Prof. Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar threw light on the historical perspective of serious pandemics in context with Covid-19 pandemic. More than 120 delegates participated in this webinar. The webinar was conducted by Dr. Gurmeet Singh Hundal and Dr. Baljit Singh Virk gave the vote of thanks. The webinar successfully organized with the efforts of Prof. Tarsem Singh, Dr. Umrinderpal Singh, Dr. Rajesh Kumar and other members of organizing committee.
