Arpit Bajpai and Manju Bombaria, students of B.P.Ed. first year of GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, brought laurels by winning a gold medal and a bronze medal, respectively. Arpit Bajpai bagged the gold medal in the double event of 29th Senior National Sepak takraw Championship which was held at Jodhpur in Rajasthan from 2nd to 6th January 2019. Sepak takraw is commonly known as kick volleyball and is played using any body part except for arms or hands. Arpit was also the national level gold medalist in 2016. Manju Bombaria won her bronze medal in the 3rd Elite (Senior) Women National Boxing Championship 2018 held at Bellary in Karnataka from 31st December 2018 to 6th January 2019. She is an international level player who had earlier participated in 5th Nation Cup 2016 and in Youth World Women Boxing Championship 2014. S.
