In the ongoing Callaghan Cup 2018 at GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, the Punjab team in women's category swept the board and emerged victorious against Black Dots by 32 points. S. Bhupinder Singh Sidhu, AIG Task Force Ludhiana, as the Chief Guest congratulated the team for their dominant performance. Mr. Ratan Singh Brar, ADCP Crime, Ludhiana, and Mr. Dinesh Aggarwal, Business Tycoon, also, graced the occasion as the Guests of Honour. In the men's and women's category, a total of four matches were played, respectively, on the fourth day. The skillful superiority of Rajasthan over Madhya Pradesh in the women's category was evident with a score of 22-0. Likewise, Chandigarh quelled the strong challenge by Haryana Warriors and winded up the match at 7 points to nil. The Rugby Warriors defeated the host team by 29-5. In the men's category, All Dreams team thwarted the Black Archers by 22-0. Due to the incredible effort by Shiva, the Andhra Pradesh team won the match against Gujarat by 5-0. The Rajasthan team was stamped out by Haryana Warriors at 40-0. The host team faced defeat by 5 points in a closely contested match against Chandigarh. The match between Uttrakhand and Madhya Pradesh entered extra time as both the teams shared similar scoreline by the end of the game. But in the end, the Uttrakhand team emerged victorious by a lead of 5 points. The winners of the day were appreciated for their efforts by Lt. Gen. I.S. Singha, (Retd.), Director, Dr. S.S.
