The students of M.P.Ed first year of G.H.G. Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, brought laurels by securing five positions in the top ten of Panjab University Examination results which were recently declared. Dr. S.S. Deol, Principal, while congratulating Prof. Tejinder Singh, Head, Department of Physical Education, highlighted that Swarnjeet Kaur with 84.75% marks, Manjinder Kaur with 84.62% marks, Priyanka Kamboj with 83.62% marks, Virender Kumar witj 83.37% marks and Santosh Kumari with 82.62% marks bagged second, third, fifth, seventh and eighth position, respectively, at the University level. Through this result, the dedicated efforts of the faculty members: Dr. Manohar Lal, Dr. Sunita Devi, Prof. Kuldeep Chand, Dr. Baljinder Singh, Prof. Shashi Kant, Prof. Kiran, Prof. Serishtha Devi and Prof. Kirandeep Kaur, shone out. On the whole, the M.P.Ed batch 2017-19, performed exceptionally well in their first semester with 29 students scoring above 75% marks. S. Manjit Singh Gill, President, College Governing Council, Lt. Gen. I.S. Singha (Retd.), Director, and Dr. H.S. Brar, Registrar, lauded the academic excellence of the faculty and the students of Department of Physical Education.
