On-the-Spot Poster Making Competition
On the occasion of Teacher's Day, the Biological Society organized an *On-the-Spot Poster
Making Competition* under the theme 'Teachers: My Inspiration.'
The event took place in the Zoology Lab on
September 5th, starting at 10:00 AM, and saw enthusiastic participation from around 33 students. The posters
were evaluated by esteemed faculty members, Prof. Jasbinder Kaur and Prof. Parveen Ansari, who carefully
assessed each entry for creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall presentation. The event was efficiently
coordinated by Prof. Rajan Kapoor, Prof. Ritika, and Jla Malkit Kaur. The results of the competition were as
follows:
- First Position: Jashandeep Kaur
- Second Position: Mamta Kumari
- Third Position: Husanpreet Kaur
- Consolation Prize: Garima Arora
In addition to the competition, the Office Bearers of the Biological Society extended their heartfelt gratitude to the college teachers by distributing gifts and sweets in the morning. They thanked the teachers for their dedication and guidance, contributing to the spirit of the Teacher's Day celebrations.The event concluded with the Principal, Prof. Inderjit Singh, addressing the participants. He congratulated the winners and encouraged all students to continue expressing their appreciation for teachers through creativity and hard work. His words of motivation left the students feeling inspired to take on future challenges with renewed enthusiasm.
