G.H.G. Khalsa Colleges, Gurusar Sadhar organized its annual convocation on March
20, 2025 to celebrate the academic achievements of its graduating students. Dr. Satbir Singh
Gosal, Vice Chancellor, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana was Chief Guest on the
occasion. This annual event brought together students, faculty, alumni, and distinguished
guests to mark the successful completion of their academic journey. The event was a moment
of pride and joy for all the graduates as they were awarded degrees and recognized for their
hard work and dedication.
The convocation ceremony began with the formal procession of the academic staff,
dignitaries, and the graduating students. Dr. Pargat Singh Garcha, Principal, Education
College opened the ceremony with a warm welcome and congratulatory message to the
graduates, their families, and the faculty. Dr. Satwinder Kaur, Principal, Pharmacy College,
presented the brief annual reports of all the three G.H.G. Colleges. Prof. Inderjeet Singh,
Principal Degree College, urged the graduates to stay connected with the college community
and to give back in meaningful ways, whether by supporting future students, contributing to
the institution’s growth, or using their knowledge to positively impact society. Degrees were
conferred to the 217 students of Education College, 107 students of Degree College and 130
students of Pharmacy College across various disciplines. Students who had excelled in
academic field at the university level were also honored with Special Academic Excellence
awards.
The highlight of the event was the address by the Chief Guest Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal,
where he shared his valuable insights on the importance of education, the ever-evolving job
market, and the responsibilities that the new graduates would face as they embark on their
professional journeys. The chief guest also encouraged the graduates to continuously seek
knowledge and stay committed to their personal and professional growth.
The proud parents, faculty members, and peers applauded the graduates as they took
the stage to receive their recognition. S. Manjit Singh Gill, President G.H.G. Khalsa Colleges
Governing Council in his message wished the graduates success in all their future endeavours
and urged them to make a positive difference in the world. Dr. S.S. Thind, Secretary, G.H.G.
Khalsa Colleges Governing Council extended the vote of thanks at the end of the event.
